Mid QA Engineer (Manual)

Key Responsibilities

As a Mid-Level QA Engineer, you will be responsible for functional QA across digital deliverables within one or more client engagements, including websites, emails, banners, and application components. You will execute test plans, document and track defects, collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues, and ensure all deliverables are thoroughly verified before release.

• Execute test plans and test cases across digital deliverables, including websites, emails, banners, IVAs, CRM, and digital applications.
• Perform functional, regression, cross-browser, and cross-device testing to ensure quality across different environments.
• Identify, document, and track software defects in Jira or equivalent tools, including clear reproduction steps, impact, expected results, and actual behavior.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and perform regression testing before release.
• Perform API and backend testing using Postman or equivalent tools to validate services and integrations.
• Communicate test results and quality status clearly to internal delivery teams and clients.
• Identify recurring defect patterns and contribute to QA process and test coverage improvements.

Requirements

Must Have

• 2-4 years of experience in QA/Software Testing within a software development or digital agency environment.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing of web applications and digital deliverables such as emails or banners.
• Good understanding of functional, regression, cross-browser, and cross-device testing.
• Experience creating and executing test cases and maintaining regression coverage.
• Experience with Jira or equivalent defect management tools, with the ability to write clear and reproducible bug reports.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to understand and reproduce front-end issues.
• Experience with API testing, using Postman or equivalent tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate root causes rather than only identify symptoms.
• Business-level English, with the ability to prepare defect reports and communicate with stakeholders in English.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with test automation or scripting using Python, JavaScript, Node.js, or equivalent technologies.
• Working knowledge of SQL and databases for data validation and troubleshooting.
• QA certifications such as ISTQB, CMSQ, CSQA, or equivalent.
• Experience testing email marketing, banner advertising, CRM integrations, or similar digital marketing solutions.
